DCee (real name: David Byard) was born on 11-13-1983 in Philadelphia, PA. His family was always into music. His father was a DJ and his grandmother and aunts were singers in the church. DCee found his calling when his mother and grandmother put together and got him a drum set when he was 5 yrs. Old. That started the wheels turning in DCee to find out more when it comes to music. Even though his parents were strict, they always knew that he had a talent and kept him focused on improving that talent into something bigger.
Fast forward to his college days, DCee loved technology and computers and always wanted to know how to put them together. While doing a minor in music, this is where he learned about music theory, producing, arranging songs and engineering. Upon graduating college, DCee expanded his knowledge by ghost-producing for other artists and doing intern work in recording studios.
DCee has worked with: Murder Inc., Barbara Sheree, Lady Merk, Chain of Music Entertainment, Sound Found Music Group and has worked at LDB Recordings in Philadelphia, PA as a producer, teacher, and engineer.
